 Louise wanted a gift for her friend who is getting married this weekend in Scotland. She chose these 12 beautiful vintage cupcakes complete with cute bride and groom centre cakes.

60th Birthday Vintage Rose Lace Cake

 

So this weekend was my Mum's surprise Birthday party. Me and my sister have been planning it for months but she threw a spanner in the works by going into labour and giving birth to her baby in the back of her husband's car the night before the event. The party went on without them (sadly) and I made my Mum this pretty vintage style lace rose cake. All went well until after the speech when the cake stand decided to fall apart and the cake dropped onto it's side on the table and head towards the floor. Good job it was caught in the nick of time! It came off relatively unscathed to be honest and friends and family have enjoyed eating it today. So a stressful but enjoyable weekend and a lovely addition to our family, baby George.

Vintage Engagement Cupcakes

Sharon contacted us as her and the lovely Joe were having an engagement party. She loved the idea of having 2 extra special personalised cupcakes for her and Joe and lots of mini cupcakes for her guests. We made her these gorgeous vintage inspired floral cupcakes with personalised and "i do" cupcake picks. Sharon was thrilled with her cupcakes and we thought they were beautiful! Congratulations Sharon and Joe!
